Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables, General Procedures).

CAUTION: Make sure that the inside of the pipe ends are clean and free of oil residue.

Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor

CAUTION: Make sure that the inside of the pipe ends are clean and free of oil residue.

1. Torque: 10 Nm

2. Torque: 4 Nm

3. Torque: 10 Nm

Installation

1. NOTE: Make sure that the sensor housing is clean and free of foreign material.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
